Melsen Tryk founded by Svend Melsen in Absalonsgade in the city of Aalborg, Denmark. The core business was transfers, metal signs, surface treatment, sheet metal processing and tool making. The factory area was 400 m2.
Melsen Tryk moves into a larger factory building on Lyngvej in South West Aalborg. The company adds membrane switch to its core business. The factory area is increased to 1,500 m2.
The factory area is increased to 1,800 m2.
Melsen Tryk builds a new factory with a factory area of 5,000 m2 at Number 4, Dallvej in South West Aalborg, and receives the Danish Precast Concrete Association's award for the most attractive commercial building in Denmark, and the Municipality of Aalborg's award for the most attractive commercial building in Aalborg.
The hitherto privately owned company becomes a public limited company.
The factory area is increased to 8,500 m2.
The introduction of new technology, in-mould decoration, laser technology for plastic sheet and 3D cutting. The factory area is increased by a further 300 m2 for a fully automated screen-printing line.
Melsen Tryk A/S becomes Melsen Tech A/S. Introduction of water cutting technology.
Introduction of laser technology for metal and combined punching machine and fibre laser.
